This is truly pathetic from the BBC's point of view.
Utterly cowardly of them to publicly criticise the Trial Judge's findings but then not have the courage to appeal it. They won't appeal it as they know any appeal will be dismissed, i.e. the Trial Judge got it right.
My licence fee is being spent on this farce and I rather doubt if any heads have rolled or will roll at the BBC because of this.
