What other 70%? Do you mean third party only, or liability disputes? Or where they are put in a credit hire car regardless? I don't care how someone gets in a credit hire car, it's all a big con.

I made a decision never to get involved with credit hire but I suppose I should have added....

7. Fix credit hire rates for all classes of vehicle allowing 5% interest on the daily rate for the "credit".
8. Credit hire rates only recoverable for 2 weeks post accident.

I reckon this might be harsh on someone who truly needs a credit hire vehicle - think rural district nurse - but that's the way it was before credit hire came in.
