The SRA, Law Society, CLC etc were are told how daft the idea is, as solicitors already have to tell clients the fees at the start!?

But legal firms need not panic. Firms will either use general and loose language, or they will play games such as this:

"Accurate prices only supplied when full facts known. Some sales/purchases can be just £200 others can be £2,000.

We hope yours will be close to £200 - contact us now to be pleasantly surprised"

So, don't panic, nothing will actually change.

BUT ASK THIS - How much has been spent on researching and pushing this price publication nonsense through? Millions? Heads should roll for that fact alone.
