I think that the thing holding this DBA stuff back is the Bar won’t accept them and still want to be paid full fees (at the same level as surgeons) that the punters don’t have. So interesting times ahead. Will the Bar win by attrition or the Consumer. The MPs have seen what happens with Brexit when they prostrate themselves before London and the South East (substitute Commercial Interests be it Insurers Banks Oligarchs Large Business generally)’and don’t listen to the electorate in June 2016. I suspect that MP’s sinecures and interests will take preference to the Bar however well entrenched. The Consumer and punter will finally win out....
