Lets all concentrate on the massive savings the insurers are going to pass on in ten years time. Seriously? The people who write these press statements for the government are living in cuckoo land. Whatever happened to the Justice System where someone who had been wrong was placed into the same position they would have been had they not been wronged? That system has completely gone. I would gladly give up the promise of a £35 saving in my Motor Insurance (which will never materialise anyway) to get the system that was in place before. If the government wants to make costs more proportionate which is what all started this debate give more power to the Judges who deal with these cases day in and day out. They are the experts not you.
