As the Houses of Parliament are falling down (literally) they could pilot a scheme in which MPs stay in their constituency offices looking at a little screen and press a button to vote. Off course they won’t because it wouldn’t work - politics is all about personal contact, confidence, eye contact and body language, and what goes on behind the scenes.
