Legal aid helps ensure things are done properly. Just look at the rise in LiPs in family cases and cross-ex by LiPs of the other half they allegedly battered.
If Hartman and others really believed in Justice they’d be apologising for Labour’s past policies and be campaigning for a properly resourced Justice system and a much improved and better resources legal aid system instead of tithes or any other such nonsense.
