That's a profit of 5%. No managing partner worth their salt would accept that as adequate. Can't imagine what the Private Client partners in a law firm would be doing when those figures went round the table. No financial controller in a mainstream business would regard them as acceptable either. If you then factor into this the likelihood that the work comes in on the back of the funeral business, rather than the other way round, this makes little or no commercial sense.
