I totally agree with the comment below. These fixed fee changes were brought about with the view that the many pay for the few. Not only can you do 12k worth of WIP and only get £500 you can also do 12k worth of WIP and lose the Trial and get nothing.

So as always the solicitor is being **** on from a great height!

It may be that it is a passenger in a rear end shunt but you will still do in excess of £1000 worth of work on the case to bring it to a conclusion. Even if it stays in the Portal.

People who make these changes then disappear into the background when the unintended consequences rear their ugly heads...
