There should be an absolute ban on a solicitor in their professional capacity preparing a will under which they receive a benefit.

Allowing this if there is "independent advice" simply opens the door to collusion and malfeasance. It leaves the rule woolly where it should be firm and clear.

I really cannot see how anyone can defend this sort of thing, yet we have people below defending it.
