It is very difficult to see how this complaint ever got off the blocks to start with unless there is more to it than is being reported of course.

But the thing that troubles me is:

I mean to say .... was the complainant on drugs? If so many many of those people brought before the Mags are vulnerable I should have thought (I recall one Barrister saying probably legalising drugs would cut crime by about 60% anyway).

If he cant remember anything then is he fit to be conducting the complaint?

More worryingly was he fit to plea and should he not have been detained indefinitely (because should you have people running around that can't recall pleading or not to an offence whether as much as 10 years ago or not)?

Is he well enough now to have been released or was he ever well enough?
