This is another example of our Regulator virtue signalling.
None of this will actually make any difference to the process or the experience of the client/customer/consumer/punter in engaging with the profession.
But it will enable Mr Philip to say that he is 'doing something for the consumer'.
I would be delighted if the SRA (amongst others) did things in order to achieve something tangible and of genuine benefit, rather than expensive and pointless gestures.
