The SRA is like politics, infested by people who have never had a proper job. Researchers, Lecturers and professional committee-persons.
They think that by publishing fees this will benefit clients. Sorry.. consumers. It won't, it may just be a race to the bottom for many, where the residue of our profession may just die. There will then only be consumers, with service providers, whose concern will be their bottom line and interests. The consumers may get a cheap job, but cheap is cheap, not usually good.
