Look at the alternatives! A Unionist baker sued for refusing to bake a cake with the Irish tricolour and the slogan Sinn Fein? A Nationalist/Republican baker refusing to bake a cake with the Union Jack and the words Remember 1690?

On this side of the water, a Labour-supporting baker and an image of Lady Thatcher? A Conservative baker and an image of Jeremy Corbyn or Arthur Scargill? A baker who supports the Palestinian cause and the Israeli flag, or vice versa?

Just take your business elsewhere. This is not employment; this is not some monopoly business. The Commission should never have got involved, and I hope they get shafted for every penny of the Appellant's costs.
