Amid the hyperbolic clamour to condemn claimant PI lawyers, there is another group of PI lawyers who don't seem to be mentioned at all here. They are of course defendant PI lawyers, who will still be employed to oppose any LiP with the temerity to issue proceedings.

This is my main objection. There will no longer be parity of arms. The man on the street going head to head with the multi billion pound blue chip company and their network of solicitors and barristers. Good luck, man on the street, for you will need it.
