In my teens I worked at a bank while studying part time.

A woman who sat next to me (who had been there about 6 months longer) did the same job, with about the same work output, same hours but was on a higher salary than me… I didn’t care then & I don’t care now. The salary was acceptable to my needs then, and I wouldn’t have stayed if it wasn’t. I only remembered it when the GPG was being more heavily reported on and thinking to myself “if people don’t agree with their pay, why are they still there/aren’t they actively looking for a new job?”. If I accepted the job for less than the woman sat next to me, I do not believe I am being the victim of prejudice because of my gender.
