I would like some more practical information about this innovation. What services can I provide on an unregulated basis? Does this mean I no longer have to pay for a practising certificate? What work can’t I do under the new rules?

Could the moaners please remember that any client can claim full redress plus interest and costs at court for loss caused by bad service from unregulated lawyers. They should not have to rinse some special fund or claim on PI insurance. I know we’ve cut our own justice system off at the neck/knees by joining the EU, but we are leaving soon.

I was fired by my father’s equity partner for no good reason and need help getting back to work of any kind. I was conveyancing which I suppose is out as I can’t handle client money as a freelancer. I can also litigate - perhaps this would be better?
