In my firm we submit searches for buyers as soon as we have their funds,. With the notable exception of local searches most searches are now received in two or three days. Delays are usually in mortgage availability, clients' decision-making and preparedness to commit to the largest transaction of their lives so far. No amount of improvements in process will deal with those human anxieties and concerns - couldn't agree more that uniformity of leasehold packs and lenders terms would help but what is the insatiable tendency to equate satisfaction with speed?
