Here we go again. Platitudes. Lots of female solicitors apply for judicial roles and get passed over in favour of barristers and also many can’t sit as fee paid judges because it is career suicide. We NEED a JUDICIAL CAREER STRUCTURE! Someone tell the Joke Appointments Commission to change its riddiculous recruitment process with sifts and interviews by senior barrister judges.
