There is no place in the profession for dishonesty and there should be no place for those that drive those to become dishonest through immoral and unacceptable working conditions.

Given the importance of the decision should the SRA as regulator and the Law Society who are supposedly meant to look after member interests not ask for an investigation into the role how senior management in the firms conducted themselves or have our professional morals been lost as well.

I would not want to see in the profession any person who had compelled a solicitor to be dishonest and lose their professional career, but maybe I believe in morals and treating others how I would like to be treated myself.

Call me a traditionalist as a senior partner but in the long term the fairer you are with members of your firm the better they and the firm will be.
