The word solicitor has to be synonymous with the word 'Honesty.' That is the quality assurance upon which our brand of legal service is marketed. Any dilution of our honesty is damaging to our reputation and our livelihood. Having understanding and sympathy for someone who has become the victim of poor behaviour by their employer does not require their dishonesty to be forgiven. ( Most paedophiles are themselves the innocent childhood victims of sexual abuse and we don't forgive them when they grow up to offend). If you are the victim of abuse at work follow the firms grievance procedure and if you cant stand up for yourself then how are you going to stand up for your clients when they are under attack?
