Agreed on comment below, the Courts will take a hammering with the loss of fee revenue from solicitors. Given that HMCTS has just been told to expect further deep cuts, this should be cause for serious concern both in terms of further crumbling of the Court infrastructure and the knock on effects. Will they decide then, for instance, to try and recoup those losses but making a fee payable when applying to set aside a statutory demand?
