Maybe its more a case that JC recognises the importance of not allowing ourselves to be distracted from the bleeding away/selling off/closing down of the NHS, growing homelessness and other stuff that to most people is pretty important. I'm sure the present government loved the whole idea that while Philip Alston, in his capacity UN poverty expert, was rebuking this country for its treatment of its poorest citizens, everyone was talking about the Country's relationship with Europe. I'm pro-Europe but if it means we can vote in a government that actually cares about the welfare of its people I will take any brand of Brexit.
