For those who are supportive of the searching of Solicitors and Barristers entering a Court building think about this:
One of the Court staff (who are not searched) is forced to bring a bomb into the court building through fear of what will happen to his kidnapped daughter. The bomb goes off and your confiscated umbrella and the building go up in smoke.
We aren’t searched going on a train or on the tube or on a bus.
Court security is a joke as it does little to make the building safe. Money is wasted on security staff.
