If I am abused in public, the logic of some those that post here, requires me not to go out in public, or restrict where I go. By that same logic I must be at fault if I continue to receive abuse. If I stop appearing in public the abusers have “won”. It becomes acceptable to abuse and drive decent people away.

I cannot begin to imagine the impact of repeated and sustained abuse on anyone. It is not surprising that eventually the victim strikes back.

The real disgrace here is that the SRA sought to hide the context in which the victims tweets were sent.

Might I suggest that we all raise this with our Member of Parliament? It may also be worth considering raising a public petition to prompt a parliamentary debate.
