Shame on the SRA for this appalling decision. You've allowed the scumbags who have bombarded this man with abuse for 3 years to get away with it. And have punished him for reaching the end of his tether and responding.

Are we not human? Are we not allowed a little emotion? Ridiculous decision.

Does this not give out a message to the public that you can pretty much treat a Solicitor however you like because if they react they'll be punished by their own "Regulatory" Authority.
