Wishing the death of anyone, by anyone, especially done in writing on a public electronic forum, least of all a solicitor or a barrister, especially one of any prominence, cannot really be reasonably and objectively constructed as anything else but the issuing of a death threat, and this is where the Malicious Communications Act and the Serious Crime Act 2007 come in.
