Kamena is correct, of course. Leaving the European Union after our immemorial membership of twenty-six years will mean an immediate retardation of "children's rights" in the UK, just as if we were some half-civilized country with a poor record on that issue and not a world leader in "rights" of all sorts, or a nation which had played a leading role in extending the concept of human rights in continental Europe and other parts of the globe long before the EU was a twinkle in Father Monnet's eye. As I say, she is absolutely correct. Unfortunately the only "right" she has identified as emanating specifically from Brussels is "a child’s right to be forgotten", which one hopes is not the best example that could have been selected.
