Given the focus on transparency, I think it is only fair to highlight other areas of the SRA's work that could do with some transparency...

For example, when will the SRA publish the costs of the Leigh Day prosecution, and perhaps more importantly, the appeal? Will it publish the advice it received on the merits of the appeal?

Will it address the issue of large firms (usually limited liability) going under leaving multi-million pounds debts to secured and unsecured creditors?

Of note is that the story last week concerning one such firm going under has had all its comments deleted over the weekend. Nearly 40 odd comments last time I saw it, now the comment option has been turned off and all previous comments have disappeared.
