Great article. Sad that things haven't moved on in the last 18 years. Poor or lack of 'experts', lack of funding for support services and training. Same old false allegations of abuse and rape and alienated children. The alienating parent manual must still be doing the rounds as the repeatable traits and behaviours are evidenced time and time again. Dare we say the 'S' syndrome word? I'd like to see the focus on rapid and professional intervention on all claims of abuse in Family Courts. PA is just another form of abuse, one of the worst, and needs that level of scrutiny and expertise to ensure false and real claims are dealt with correctly. For a mistake here either way will damage children for the rest of their life. We owe it to the victims to get to the facts of these claims and ensure we have the remedy to stop the abuse, and overturn the damage that has already occurred. That is the same for Domestic Violence and Parental Alienation (Child Abuse).
