I would not have turned down an equity firm at the leading firm I was at. Instead I had to set up on my own to earn decent money. It is very hard to prove discrimination as loads of men working full time like I was ( with children without maternity leaves) also are not made equity partners. All we can do is set up our own firms and seek to out earn the men. It is certainly huge fun.

The day women have 80% not 20% positions of power in the UK and when they have 80% of highest earning equity partner roles in firms I will be content. I could just about live with 50%
