I may print several copies of this article, so that each time my friends and family ask me why I put in so many hours and put myself under pressure to meet deadlines, I can show them a real example. How many of us have heard, "You can only do as much as you can do"? My response is always, "I'm definitely not going to use that in court when asked why I didn't file in time".

Meanwhile, I'm still awaiting a copy Order that I paid for (£10!!!)nearly two months ago, and I very much doubt that the original was ever sent anyway.

Tell me again about the heinous crime of a solicitor daring to file two weeks late...
