Then you clearly haven’t read article 50(3), which provides clearly that on triggering Article 50, a state leaves the EU within 2 years unless one particular circumstance applies: all parties unanimously agree to extend time.

A unilateral withdrawal of the notification is not a unanimous agreement to extend time.

The ECJ has simply invented another exception out of thin air, contrary to the express wording. In doing so, it has created absurdity: what is the point in requiring all states to unanimously agree an extension, when presumably one can now withdraw a notification then instantly trigger Article 50 again...
