I am sorry to hear of your cancer. For that you have my best wishes and sympathy.

I'm afraid however that I find your arguments unpersuasive.

Your opinion on whether the 'choice' was stupid or self-serving is irrelevant. The British people were free to reject it. They did not. That is democracy. Sometimes the majority disagrees with you.

Democratic decisions are not invalidated just because the electorate changes with the ordinary course of time. If it did, then every democratic decision would be instantly invalidated the very next day, when individuals die and other individuals attain voting age.

I don't understand the point you're trying to make when you argue "We have not got democratic government in this country to-day." Your fundamental complaint appears to be that the government is abiding by a democratic vote.
