It is a bit depressing in this context to read the views of what are, in theory at least, lawyers . The question is not what UK decides internally or how it does it but what it has the freedom to do vis a vis the EU ; the Court of Justice has said that until the March deadline - or later deadline if agreed - it is as free as the air. That's all. There should be no confusion in trained legal minds.
