Well conveyancing standards are certainly at an all time low. I say the same every year and never believe things can get worse but for some reason they always do. I have been doing this job now for 36 years and it is a tragedy what has happened to conveyancing. I remember the joy of being offered my first job in a Solicitors office and the kudos that came with it. Now I am almost embarrassed to tell people I am a Conveyancer in case they think I am one of the incompetent, technology, tickbox obsessed new breed who thinks Indemnity Policies and questions about Japanese Knotweed are the way forward.
