Anon @ 13.50. You are absolutely correct.
However when I started in the seventies if you did not approve the Conveyance you approved it using the words "as amended in red".
The problem nowadays is that "case handlers" are unable to get past a box on their checklist without ticking it. Solicitor Conveyancers with real experience use common sense and do not need a checklist which needs every box ticking.
