Hard to believe the last post is from a practicing solicitor.

Mr Clegg clearly made an error of judgment. Would I have done it - no. But it seems to me that every other professional is excused for their errors in judgment. MP's seemingly get away with patent dishonesty (remember the expenses scandal). Did the professor expect Mr Clegg to be struck off when he reported him - hard to be believe that any decent minded person would have wanted this or would have expected it so I think it unlikely.

Who really would want to be a solicitor?
