All litigation's speculative otherwise disputes would not be litigated. If I were a Judge at that level and had read The Pelican Brief I'd be asking for danger money. Once serious money is being invested in areas outside the owner's own field of specialism things have a history of running away. Soon we'll have litigation funders funding claims against litigation funders whose assessment of their investors' attitude to risk may not have been fully probed. Still, may as well make hay while the sun's shining and clearly it's an area which seems Brexit proof. Who regulates the Funders by the way?
