Once people begin betting on outcomes, doping and match fixing inexorably follow. Some say Bernie controlled GPs from the back of his motor home. Call me old Mr Last Century, but this isn't going to end well for the majority be they investors, lawyers, judges or litigants, although (obviously) others think its Christmas. (Just like the proponents of sub prime mortgages). Will members of the legal profession from Judges to Solicitors Clerks and all ranks in between have to sign declarations of interest like shareholdings in the funding companies?
