I agree with anon @ 12:16 to a large extent. The Client is more important than squeezing as much profit out of a case as we can. Of course we have to be profitable to stay in existence and provide the Client a service in the first place, but that can be done whilst also providing Client's the certainty they need instead of stumbling along in the dark only to be faced with an enormous unknown bill at conclusion and having the house and home come under threat because they were not armed with the necessary information much earlier on to make an informed choice as to whether it was economical to continue with the litigation.
