I really don't know why it is necessary to involve solicitors at all in PI claims. Their involvement just means that the claimant gets less. If I lose my job, I apply for benefits to the government. I don't need ask a solicitor to do it for me. And the government gives me what I'm entitled to have. It should be the same for PI claims. If I'm injured, I apply for compensation to the insurer of the person who injured me. I don't need to ask a solicitor to do it for me. And the insurer gives me what I'm entitled to. It's can be that simple. It's just the solicitors who make it complicated in order to feather their nests.
