You’re wrong. In the good old days you’d go the expert you trusted to give their truthful and unvarnished opinion. Most often that was an orthopaedic surgeon rather than a cut ‘n’ paste GP.

Sometimes you’d like it. Sometimes you wouldn’t but you might have have had an inkling already from reviewing records and speaking with the claimant at the point of instruction. None of that is possible any more.

All this before medical agencies and CBT or rehab etc.

Have there been shysters in this profession. Oh yes. Are all us in this sector shysters? No, so take your insults elsewhere.
