@10:34: the point being that one person thought there was something wrong. So it wasn't barking up the wrong tree.

But if one looks at the HC judgment there are some findings of fact:

-a member of staff destroyed an original document that undermined the Leigh Day case against the government;
-the firm made payments to (possibly fake) witnesses which the firm itself described as bribes;
-one of the solicitor judges did not find the firm's members to be credible.

Those in themselves are fairly serious.
