Who cares - so long as people understand the true measure of the duplicitous cheat, that's all that matters. For the CEO to so readily ignore the requests of 44 MPs indicates that he has got Government approval to cheat victims of solicitor contrived fraud. It is not clear whether the SRA cheats all victims of fraud or whether it is just significant frauds like Ecohouse that would bankrupt the SRACF.

What is clear to victims of the fraud is that any notion of proper due process and applying the rule of law goes out of the window where large fraud cases are concerned. As the saying goes, money corrupts, or rather the prospect of paying large compensation claims corrupts.
