I am a solicitor advocate carrying out Crown Court only on a casual basis, I'm a " consultant" for my firm, this translates to a zero hours contract. I bloody well hate electronic files. I always have paper briefs where possible and at the very least save everything to my drive. I was in Truro Crown Court last Friday when the system went down. Luckily I was able to provide my papers to all concerned including probation. My matter was resolved. So, my advice is; at the very least save everything to your drive.
