I apologise for misusing the word hateful, it must have been the embers of red wine in the system this morning. I guess it was the use of the words 'Brextard loonies' that I took offence to and misplaced my sense of humour in the process!

I do also agree with many of your points and we have a lot of common ground, as do most remain and leave voters quite astonishingly.

Personally I feel that party politics (and the House of Lords) are anti-democratic, especially when the whip is cracked and the MP's vote against what they and their constituents believe in. Will anything be reformed? Unfortunately I very much doubt it.
