How will this work? I once pulled out of a house purchase as the survey said it needed underpinning. I didn't want to deal with that sort of work for my first home, and I didn't have the money to do so. The purchaser who went ahead and purchased the house after I pulled out didn't mind dealing with underpinning and had the money to do so. An extreme example but how can you say what is worthy of pulling out and getting this deposit back, when it could be totally different for different people?
