I hope you're not a Cost Lawyer anon at 11:19 because the Court are free to set what ever total they want for the future costs and if they want to they can advise on what basis they have set those totals. The parties then have to work within however they see fit. That is not the same as actually changing the rates claimed in a budget.

The Judge here did not set the rates, he "said he did not consider that hourly rates of more than £550 could be justified, and proportionate reductions should also be made in the lower partners’ rates"
