I too am a Scouser. It's a great place to work and to live. Like the first poster, I'm desperately sorry for those about to lose their jobs. But if you're one of those affected, if you're offered relocation, and your other commitments allow, do at least come and have a look at what this fabulous city has to offer. Yes it's different to London, but I don't think you'd be disappointed.
